6:04 pm 10/20/2011Go back in time to see some of Florida's prehistoric inhabitants. This exhibit features hundreds of genuine Florida fossils and more than a dozen skulls. The animals represented in the display include some of your favorites like mammoths, mastodons, saber cats, dire wolves and sloths. New to the exhibit are replica skulls of a Giant Beaver and Giant Armadillo that are displayed next to a much smaller modern relative! Don't miss the Touch Table where you can touch genuine fossils from a mastodon and a giant tortoise.
A permanent favorite at Sandoway House is our fossil dig where kids can hunt find and keep genuine Florida Fossils.
